CTP Construction and Mining Corporation’s (CTPCMC) Management Team continuously improve the Safety and Health targets with collective responsibility from its employees and contractors that aims to achieve excellence in Safety and health Management. Thus, it is important to note that actions begin from the most Senior Management and extend downward to every supervisor level in all function departments.
The company adapts the Safety and Health Policy from the integrated policy on Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety as derived from the requirement of the ISO 45000:2018 Standard. It was crafted with the intention of providing framework in the overall management of safety and Health, and ensuring the performance of best safety and health care to the employees in the organization in enhancing value for its stakeholders, recognizing environmental stewardship, health, safety, and sustainable development for its employees, customers, contractors and other external parties as fundamental principles to our operations.

CTP Construction and Mining Corporation (CTPCMC) Safety and Health implementation is aimed to uplift the health and safety welfare of all personnel in the organization which continually upholds the best care to its employees in delivering the services it provides. Apart from protecting the employees from the daily safety and health hazards it may acquire in performing its duties, it also increases productivity in attaining the company’s production target for the benefit of everyone working for the company including its nearby assisted communities.
As part of the SHP, CTPCMC provides free safety gears/Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), trainings and seminars to its employee in a way of expanding the knowledge based of all employees, conducts annual physical examination, health information drive and conducts of safety emergency drills.

Emergency Response and Preparedness Program (ERPP)
In the formulation of an Emergency Response and Preparedness Program it becomes easier to respond on different emergency situations. The company ERPP embrace all conceivable contingencies, making use of all available resources. Through this program self-reliance is develop by promoting and encouraging the spirit of self-help and mutual assistance among the community.

Emergency Response Team (ERT)/Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)Team
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) also known as Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) Team is composed of employee from different level of department. The members are trained to fulfil the required roles in specific situation and is divided into groups for specific function such as Fire Fighting team, disaster brigade team, crowd control team, rescue team, first aid team and oil spill team.
The EHS team also extends its assistance to the host and neighboring communities when natural disaster and emergency incident arises. The team also participated on Safety Competitions like Fire Fighting, Rescue Transfer, First Aid and Fire Extinguishing.

Safety Seal
CTPCMC receives it Safety Seal as the company joined the Safety Seal Certification Program of Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) after a two-day field inspection by one of the Issuing Authority – Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) representatives from Caraga Regional Office.
With this Safety Seal, the company was found compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government, including the adoption or integration with the StaySafe.ph in contact tracing application. CTPCMC once again proves its commitment to its employees to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
CTPCMC maintains a good relationship between its employees and the Top Management. This attest with a smooth cooperation of the employees from all the management’s actions in fighting against covid-19, as a result, CTPCMC has a Zero Case of Covid-19 for the calendar year 2020 and 2021.
Now, as we prioritize health incorporating it with the economic status of the company, the totality of being in good condition depends on both workers and its stakeholder well-being. The Top Management believes that together we can overcome the crisis.
